消息面上，美国8月PPI同比升至5.4%超预期，市场对美联储9月加息概率的定价已升至90%左右，美元走强压制铜价。同时，高铜价抑制下游需求，现货升水从周初的260-300元/吨回落至180元/吨，下游BG大游ank>BG大游以刚需采购为主。南华期货认为，铜价短期将维持高位宽幅震荡，波动可能随9月15-16日美联储议息会议及9月28日关税决策窗口而放大。
